Academy @ Worden are always looking for ways to engage their pupils in learning. Offering a range of opportunities across the curriculum helps pupils to enjoy their time in school and thus improve outcomes. Worden offers both French and Spanish, and "Languages Week" was a great chance to celebrate the success of this thriving department. During the week commencing 18th September, 2017, the school held this special event in order to celebrate and promote language learning across the school.
Various competitions and activities took place throughout the week, including a French breakfast morning, quizzes, a language poster competition and a “Find the Language” hunt around the school.

- Kira Turner: Runner up in the poster competition.
- Poppy McGovern: Runner up in the poster competition.
- Dragon 1: Winners of the prize for the highest level of participation in “Languages Week”
