European Day of Languages

To celebrate the European Day of Languages, we held competitions and events over a whole week, including a French breakfast morning, poster competition and quizzes.
We held a successful French breakfast morning and would like to thank our year 9 helpers, Dylan Sear, Rebecca Nixon, Sarah Welton and Josh Hurst, who did a fantastic job of encouraging their younger peers to speak French. We also held a poster competition for which the theme was “Careers with Languages.” Congratulations to Alessandra Ebreo (winner), Molly Rushby (runner up) and Theodora Mjojo (runner up) for their fantastic posters.
Finally, congratulations to 9VB and Miss Burns for winning the form quiz competition. Thank you to everyone who took part.
