The hall was full of stands from local colleges, training providers and prospective employers who brought with them all forms of information and spoke to youngsters about the many opportunities they have to offer.

Delegates included representatives from Runshaw, Blackburn, Wigan & Leigh, Preston's and Myerscough Colleges, the Eric Wright Group, Training 2000, National Apprenticeship Service, ROQ, BEA, Leyland Trucks, Premier Hose, McDonalds, Forbes Solicitors, the Army, Navy and Fire and Rescue Services and Howard's Decoratorsto name a few.

Headteacher, Chris Catherall said, "I would like to thank all the representatives who attended today. We are very grateful for the time they gave to our pupils and parents and I know everyone got a lot out of the experience. At Worden we offer excellent careers advice and guidance and I would like to thank Mrs Blackledge, Mrs Catherall and Mrs Wood for organising this great event."
