Year 7 Student Council Election

The Student Council is looking for energetic, creative and responsible people who want to develop their skills as leaders. In order to participate in the student council, you will have to ensure that you are seen as a role model to your peers and represent the high standards and expectations we have at Worden.

Additionally, you will have to be committed to regular attendance at student council meetings (during lunch usually twice monthly) and be active in all council sponsored events.

Please carefully consider these things before applying. Your application is due to your form tutor by this Friday. Your application will be reviewed through a shortlisting process and then selection of the chosen candidates for the main election week, will be announced on Monday 10th February.

Year 7 Student Council Election Process

  • 3rd – 7th February – Application for shortlisting (Letter)
  • 10th February – 14th February: Election week (Presentations)
  • 14th February: Election day
  • 14th Feb P6 – Results Assembly P6.
  • 17th – 21st February – Head of Year 7 Council interviews
  • 21st Feb – Head of Year 7 SC announcement
